Computer Labs
General-use computer access is available to on-campus students through computers in the residence halls and designated public labs. In addition, many academic departments have their own computer labs available for their majors. Wireless internet is also available in areas around campus. Laptops with wireless access are available for use in the Ponzio Campus Center. These can be checked out at no cost with your Northland ID at the Information Desk in the Campus Center.
General-use Computer Labs
There are two main computer labs under the IT department's supervision, one in the Dexter Library and one in the Larson-Juhl Center for Science and the Environment (CSE). The Dexter Library computer lab is located on the main floor of the library. The lab in the science building (CSE 236) is used during the day for classes and in the evening as a student computer lab. Hours the labs are available for use are posted by each computer lab. All computers are PCs and require a Northland logon for access. Laser printing is available in both labs.
Computer Lab Hours
The Dexter Library computer lab is available during library hours. The CSE236 computer lab hours are posted by the lab. Please visit these locations for more information about computer lab schedules and availability.Computer labs are closed during breaks (mid-session, Thanksgiving, Christmas break, and Spring break).
