Northland Dining and Food Service
The Baldwin Commons dining room and the Campus Store are located in the Ponzio Campus Center. The Northland College food service provider, Chartwells, has served the community for more than twenty years.
Northland's food service has established several cutting-edge and sustainable offerings including: vegetarian/vegan entrees by our own vegetarian cook; only purchasing cage-free eggs; using only zero trans-fat oils; purchasing seafood based on the sustainable seafood policy as recommended by the Monterey Bay Aquarium; 20% of fresh produce is grown locally; participating in campus composting; and selling 100% biodegradable corn-based travel mugs through the campus store.
2012-2013 Meal Plans
Option 1 is required of first year freshman students. Options 1, 2, and 3 are available for all other students living on-campus. Off-campus students may pick any meal plan options they would like.

Use your meals in the Baldwin Commons dining room or transfer them to the Campus Store. The dining hall serves three meals each weekday. Brunch and dinner are served on the weekends. The Campus Store and Bean on the Brain hours are offered daily.
All plans, with the exception of Option #6, come with “Food Dollars”, which let you purchase extra meals in the dining hall, or any food - juice, granola bars, candy - in the snack bar with your student ID. Use them to fuel your study sessions or satisfy your munchies. “Food Dollars” carry through to commencement day of each academic year (provided you have a valid meal plan).
