Home / Student Life / Student Resources / College Break Traveling
Travel During College Breaks
Learning how to travel and take responsibility for oneself is part of a well-rounded college experience. Current students are responsible for arranging their own ride to or from the regional airports for the beginning and end of the academic year and school breaks.
Ways to organize your ride:
- The Rides Board, located in the Craig A. Ponzio Campus Center in the same hallway as the post office window, is a place where students can post a need for a ride or if they can offer a ride to other students.
-
Students can also make arrangements through a taxi service or with a transport service such as Bay Area Transport, Ashland. If enough students are interested in going to an airport at the same time, sharing the cost can greatly reduce the price per person.
-
Talk to your RHD/RA, classmates, friends at your cafeteria table, or members of the clubs or sports to which you belong to see if anyone else is traveling in the same direction at the same time.
Other Information for College Breaks
