Northland College radio station 97.7 WRNC-LP back on the air

Northland College Network Administrator Todd Pydo (left) assists Steve Bauder, Northwest Technical Manager with the Wisconsin Educational Communications Board, as Bauder installs an emergency backup transmitter at the 97.7 WRNC-LPFM studio. The Wisconsin Educational Communications Board delivered and installed the transmitter on loan to the college after lightning caused WRNC's transmitter to fail Sunday evening. WRNC began broadcasting over the radio airwaves again on Wednesday morning. Northland College and WRNC are seeking a permanent replacement transmitter while their current unit is being repaired.
