What was the biggest surprise when you came to Northland? How beautiful the campus was. My mom always dreamt I'd attend a college with red brick!
Who is your favorite faculty member and why? Brandon Hofstedt, because he brings vitality and passion to everything he does.
What is the best advice you could give to a prospective student? If you are serious about becoming a world-changer, come here.
Why did you choose Northland? Environmentalism is at the heart of Northland College's mission statement, I like that.
What do you love most about living in Ashland, WI? Jogging down to the lake, shopping at the Co-op, visiting the many local farms that exist here.
What do you love about Northland? Northland is turning out energetic and prepared movers and shakers each year, in a time where the world is in dire need of change.
What are your plans after graduation? To attend culinary school and open up a locally-sourced bakery in my home town, with a farming habit on the side.
How have scholarships and financial aid affected your educational experience? They've made it possible for me to attend. Without them, I wouldn't have been able to come to Northland.
