LoonWatch and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource’s Northwood’s Loon Protection Program (NLPP) will host a training opportunity for Loon Rangers and NLPP Citizen Scientists.
This introductory training will include classroom presentations on loon behavior, ecology, and habitat, a step-by-step introduction to the Annual Lakes loon monitoring program; what you can do to protect loons.
Register on-line www.northland.edu/loon-ranger-training Registration Closes on June 10th. Maximum of 30 particpants. Snacks will be provided.
