Online Bookstore FAQs
How do I order books?
1. Go to: http://northland.textbookx.com
2. Find your course: Click through the department drop down, or enter course/instructor name in the search box on the left hand side of the screen. Pick your course from the list.
3. Choose your books: Select the new, used, marketplace, or eBooks (when available) you wish to purchase and add to your cart. Please note, prices vary depending on time and availability.
4. Checkout: Follow the on-screen checkout process. Add your school voucher in the payment section when applicable.
What is the Marketplace?
Textbookx.com's peer-to-peer marketplace is a secure platform students can use to purchase and sell their books. When shopping on the marketplace, students can save an average of 60% off textbook list prices. When selling their books back, students can earn more than they would with a standard buyback program since they set their own price!
Who are the Marketplace sellers and what kind of books do they sell?
Our community of marketplace sellers consists of both students and third party vendors around the country. Marketplace sellers can post both new and used books on the marketplace. Typically, when students buy used they have the greatest opportunity to save when buying their textbooks. Next to the posting, you will see the condition of the book listed. If you order a book and it does not match your expectations from the condition listed, you have the ability to get a full refund.
