The incumbent will be responsible for managing an annual monitoring program, administering the Sigurd T. Olson Loon Research Award, designing, delivering and assessing education programs to a variety of audiences; collaborative grant writing and interacting with donors and volunteers; supervising Northland College student interns.

The position will also focus on the broader topic of lake habitats and the candidate will work closely with other Institute and Northland College educators.

Position requires extensive travel.

Qualifications: Master’s Degree preferred in life science, conservation, environmental education or related field required or equivalent experience. At least two years experience in outreach education; and demonstrated administrative skills. Position is FT with benefits, involves travel and reports to the Institute Director.
